"Meet Sophie the Giraffe and Baby Belle.  This is Belle's favorite toy right now.  It is a very safe toy, it's made of natural rubber so it's not plastic and it's very safe for Baby to chew on.  

And it is a perfect sensory toy.  So it really addresses a lot of the main sensory development areas.  So there's sight, her little body – the spots and the contrast is great for Baby to look at.  And there's a little squeaker in there, so when Belle hits the right spot, Sophie squeaks.  There's also touching, there are lots of areas for her to grab, with the thin neck and the long legs, there are lots of places where she can hold Sophie.  

The whole thing is flexible, but the ears are knobby, a little harder, and she loves to chew on those because it feels really good on her gums."
